腸内細菌が脳動脈瘤破裂に関与する可能性

未破裂脳動脈瘤の破裂予防には外科的な治療が行われますが、患者さんの負担は大きく、合併症が生じる危険性もあります。本研究結果から脳動脈瘤破裂には腸内細菌が何かしら関与していると考えられ、腸内環境の調整という、安全な破裂予防法に繋げられるように研究を進めていきたいと考えています。
